We’re grading the film

We’ve been spending all of this week grading the picture for the film.

When you shoot a film, it takes such a long time that the lighting changes between each take and each shot within a scene, because the sun is constantly moving. It’s therefore necessary to tweak the colours of each shot (or grade them), so that they match and give the appearance of taking place in the same space and time.

Next week we will start working on finishing off the film’s soundtrack.
